Asphalt Testing
Holmes Testing provides asphalt testing to comply with specifications from ASTM and state and federal highway departments and many other agencies. We are AASHTO certified for testing of hot mix asphalt. Our labs are DOT and QC/QA approved and accredited by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Our technicians will perform testing during placement to verify and document temperature and thickness as well as observe and document rolling pattern. Using a nuclear density gauge the technician tests and documents density and compaction.
