H.H. Holmes Testing Laboratories performs subsurface investigations and provides engineering reports with recommendations for foundation types and depths. Our Professional Engineers supervise the entire process and analyze test results to define soil properties and identify conditions that may not be suitable for structural purposes and make recommendations to compensate for problems with the soil.
We serve the full range of engineering and construction disciplines, including land development, industrial, commercial and residential. We have over 70 years experience in preconstruction drilling and can promise professional and reliable service.
We own and operate all our own drill rigs which are diverse in their capabilities. Our certified drillers use truck-mounted drill rigs for drilling and sampling. Our Mobile B3500, our all-terrain pickup mounted drill rig is capable of drilling in virtually any location or conditions—including indoors. Our Mobile B-4700 model is our larger more powerful drill rig. And our newest drill rig, the CME 7500 is also our most capable and most powerful rig. In addition, we have a skid rig that is used for drilling in otherwise inaccessible locations including certain indoor situations. Our rigs are equipped to meet your drilling needs with 2¼, 3¼ and 4¼ inch hollow stem augers and we are equipped to perform mud rotary drilling, rock coring and the installation of monitoring wells.
